A: TORONTO TOURNAMENT
Minnesota Stars (U.S. EWHA traveling team) brings home the hardware
at the Canadian Electric Wheelchair Hockey Association National
Tournament, held in Toronto, Ontario May 20-21.
Minnesota won the U.S. Invitational Cup given to the US team with
the most points. Minnesota also won the International Challenge
Award given to the US team who beats the 3rd place Canadian team.
Chris Kram (Center--Minnesota) was named tournament MVP. This is
the first time in history a US player has won the award.
The U.S. EWHA and Minnesota Stars would like to thank everyone
involved at the Canadian National Tournament. A Special thanks to
the Toronto organizers who put together a great tournament. We would
also like to thank all of the teams and their organizers who participated.

Minnesota and Detroit had a pre-tournament event/games in Southfield,
MI on Thursday May 18th. The WCHL of Detroit put on a great evening
of hockey and pizza. These games were a great help for both teams
before the intense competition in Toronto.

B: Minnesota News
The Minnesota Division of the U.S. EWHA will begin its fourth regular
season, Sunday May 29th. Registration will continue throughout June.
For more information, please contact the U.S. EWHA.
Volunteers are still needed.
C: Golf Tournament
The 4th Annual U.S. EWHA golf tournament will take place Thursday,
July 27th, 2000. This year's tournament is expected to be the biggest
ever.
Corporate partners include: NHL's Minnesota Wild, Nevada Bob's
Golf, Dynek, Datrek, Thomas Design Group & Associated Rollx
Vans.
Sign-up early! Last year we sold out 3 weeks before the event.
